I have at least 10 deer coming up to my bait site in front of my trail camera every night, problem is that they only come out at 10 pm. how do i get them to come out in the light?
interesting you ask this question because i have had the same problem for a few years now..every year i have to wait till it snows and it forces the deer where i live to move during the day
I heard on DNR radio the other day that if you feed deer corn you are going to change their eating habits and their moving habits. If you want to see deer more often make them work for it. In other words don't put them on welfare by leaving corn all over the place for them to eat. Make them work for a living.
Deer feed at bait piles when they're hungry...you can't control when or how that happens. My suggestion is to stop trying to draw deer to you using bait, and try to find heavily used deer trails. I'm not against baiting where it's legal, but baiting really isn't all that effective in areas where deer are not limited by food sources.

ive had the some problem but its tough too make a deer come out earlier so I found that its best to find where they are coming from.
Its easier to kill deer earlier in the day between the bedding and feeding areas.
rabbitpolice88: you should forward your comment to the White House and President Obama!

some calls and some scent are your best options. other than that, its a waiting game.
Maybe put your bait in a wagon and only leave it out in the day? They won't eat it at night if it isn't there.
