Q:
i set up my trial cam in july and got a nice buck on a 8pt with a sticker. he showed up all the time on there even more then the does. i had pictures of until season started and then i pulled my camera out. i ve hunted the stand 6 times(when the wind was right) and all i have seen are a few does and fawns and no bucks bigger then a spike all year in all my stands. my neighbor saw him on his driveway a couple weeks ago. i find his tracks all over but have not seen him yet. i don't have a lot of deer in the area and i worried if i keep hunting him im not going to get a shot at him. Any tips on getting a shot at this elusive buck?

thin tthe does they are scaring away all of the bucks and hang around in there all day
I had the same issue last season. Had seen a huge 8-10pt on my way to work. Was a place I wanted to hunt just never got to before I saw him! I stalked him a few times. Huge prints and rubs all over the place. Kicked him up a few times tryin to sneak in to a stand site early mornin and a few times late afternoon. I never got a shot at him. Hunted the plot all season. Saw alot of does but never got a good clear shot at him. Still waitin to see him this year. Gonna track him to see if he is still around. If no sign gonna go back to my other spot. I say keep on him if you want him. The bigger they are the more elusive. Thats how they get that big! Just keep tryin. Its all part of the hunt!
Buck travel patterns change a lot from summer to fall (I have observed this first hand doing radio telemetry). In order to find your buck now, you need to pattern the does because that buck is going to be looking for some lovin'. Describe the landscape of your property...can't help much without knowing the lay of the land. A google earth JPEG should help.
ok if this works i have pics of him at the edge of the ravine where the water juts from west to east in towards the power lines to the west the deer often drink at the end of that where theres a spring. the lighter area to the north was clear cut about 5 years ago and has 10 - 15 foot oak trees and a few big pines and lots of granite out crops. I hunt on public property but i never see any1 else other than 1 neighbor to the north who doesnt hunt and i have permission to hunt on his property. to the south i met the man 2 years ago who hunts it and he only hunts the last few days of gun season here.

Alright...if it were me, I would be looking a spot where the deer cross that ravine on a regular basis. It will likely be the path of least resistance and tracks will be cut deeply into the mud. Set up there and wait for does to pass through.
If deer cannot get across the ravine, that usually means there will be a trail along the edge where they are looking to cross. Intercept them along those trails.
The other place I would look would be the power line. Walk the line and try to find a spot where deer are crossing frequently. It's only a matter of time before deer cross that powerline, and if there's a big buck in the area, he'll probably cross it a time or two while he's on the trail of a hot doe. Hope this helps. Good luck!
