I THOUGHT ABOUT TRAVELING TO OHI0 TO DO SOME DEER HUNTING BUT I WOULD LIKE TO HUNT WITH MY BOW IS THERE ANY BOW HUNTING ONLY PLACES IN SOUTHEREN OHIO AND WHEN DOES THE RUT KICK IN??

ohio has a lot of archery only season i would reccomend wayne national forest in the southern regions or more up north the salt fork wildlife area, ohios rut will kick in around the first week in november. hope this helps let me kno how things go.

Many Ohio cities have archery only hunts inside the city limits to help curb the surburban deer population. Ohio's bow season is 4 months long and there are plenty of deer for everyone. I personally feel January is the best month. There are few hunters and the deer are predictable.
