For me, a longbeard turkey gobbler in the spring. There isn't even a second choice.

If I'm hungry, a Florida lobster. But for the thrill of the hunt, I'd like to experience something I've never done before--maybe an elk or some big game in Africa.

If this was to be my last hunt before the great spirit calls me to the heavens I would like to harvest a bear or a dall ram, as for the last fish it'd have to be another 30+" speckled trout

I'd have to go for a new experience hunt like seadog. I have always dreamed of wandering backwood mountains somewhere along the rockies for a monster elk. I think that would be my choice.

The biggest, hardest fighting Rainbow my fly rod could handle, on a dry fly. It'd be hard to beat seeing that fella rise to the fly and have a good long fight to get him in...all while wading in some beautiful western valley.

If it had to be my last hunt or fish it would have to break a world record. I would prabaly go with the worlds biggest white tail or large mouth bass since the record has stood for so long.

If my last hunt: getting into a large flock of turkeys in the Fall broke up perfectly in all directions, building a ground blind, and calling them in.

When my final hunt draws near, I'd like to re visit some special place from the past. The secret place I took my first Mule deer over 60 years ago on a frosty morning with my childhood dreams running wild. Or return to the Luangwa Valley,Zambia destination of my first African adventure. Perhaps Alaska and glass one more Dall ram white against a rain greened mountainside.

My last hunt will be for the peace of memories not for the excitement of the chase.

New Zealand red stag. Would flyfish there, too, but for the last fishing experience, I keep changing my mind. Right now it is Patagonia trout, though Deeter makes a case for Golden Dorado.

My last hunt would be for a big old heavy racked mule deer. Last fishing trip would have to be in the middle of no where on a mountain stream somewhere north or out west and be able to catch a bunch of native cutthroats or big native brookies. Just a peaceful trip with lots of fish.

I'd love to sit in my ground blind with my sons and just joke the afternoon away.

Fishing? No doubt a small mountain brookie rising to a fly a tied earlier in the week.
