Slow retrieve of small spinner baits. Texas rig tube or grub bait. Also might try some jigs. Topwater or fast retrieve baits probably are not going to do very well at this time of year because the fish are still going to be deeper and not as aggressive. Good Luck.

The only thing I can add is to try a medium to deep divig crankbait. Depending on where you are, don't ignore the shallows because as the weather warms, that is the first part of the pond to warm up and the bass may be there getting over the winter shivers.

Jitterbug is the best Bass Bomb you can cast on stock ponds!

Try some worms first, then all i can add is a mister twister. You may catch some panfish but i have caught plenty of bass using my favorite orange and yellow mister twister.

I would go with either a frog or a live worm because you can't go wrong with worms. Good luck!
