Q:
must be nice that you have amazing pictures of possible the state record buck (in velvet) that I...(15 year old girl) had taken and didnt get credit for it. I released pictures out to him under the stipulation that he would mention my name and give me credit for them and I didnt get credit. Also he supposibly forgot my name when the article was published. Its funny because he remembered our names when he called my dad to get a copy of the pictures.....

Try to give us a bit more information. We're only getting half the story. Who published the article and when? I think the concensus is pretty strong on this board against theft of intellectual property, whether it's writing or photographs. Anything less is not simply non-professional. It's thievery. Someone has stolen your moment. And your moment is something that cannot be recovered. Time is the most valuable thing you possess.
Ontario is right...give a little more info maybe someobe can help out.
Agreed with Ontario Honker answer above and A + 1 for you sir!!!
i'm gonna be watching this one!
Who is "he". Name names, I've felt slighted myself in the past. Go ahead and print names and hopefully we'll see it before being slammed.

I went to your profile but I didn't see a picture of this buck. Submit it so we can see and judge for ourselves. I feel bad for commenting before I looked, so make us feel better about your claims.
To all:
The pictures I posted are on the website. Titled Possible state record buck, found dead in Clinton MI. They are the only ones in the photo gallery that are alive. My dad wont let me give the name out but its pretty selfish that the man told me that he would mention my name and never did. Thats the only reason I gave him the pictures. :( big mistake. Hope to hear form you all soon.
At Field & Stream we believe in giving credit where credit is due, and we're particularly happy to do so when credit goes to a young outdoors enthusiast. The caption has been amended to include the photographer's name.
The original decision not to name the photographer was simply one of economy: Space on these photo galleries is generally tight, and for a complicated story such as this, where many different people are involved, I opted to streamline the text as much as possible in the name of clarity and concision. That decision was mine, not the gentleman you gave them to.
Thanks for sharing your photos.
