Q:
Shot an 8-pointer Saturday evening openin day black powder and new I made a horrible shot as soon as I hit him. So I left and after a restless night of sleep I came back in the mornin. This was the first deer I have ever had to track shot with a gun and he made it hard. I lost the trail several times and eventualy I was tracking only pin drops of blood that showed up every 10 yards, but 4 hours and over a quater of a mile later I found him. This goes to show never give up on the trail no matter how bad and unlikley it seems, you always have a chance to recover your trophy. Check him out.
