So there I was stalkin into my stand this morning. Come around a bend in the trail and there is a huge cow moose standing there with her back to me. I was about 15-20 feet. Stopped frozen so as not to scare her and make her charge. She turned to look at me. I did all I could to not jump into the woods. She turned back and started to stroll away. At that point I was able to get my camera out and snap a few shots! What a way to start a day of hunting! If only I had drawn a moose tag! Anybody else have any close calls?
