Q:
Vortex Optics OUTSTANDING!!! I looked into rifle scopes and found this optics company stood above the rest. I was amazed when I learned there world headquarters was minutes away from my house in south Wisconsin. After a 5 minute car ride I was in there show room. A nice worker was quick to help us. There service was outstanding and there rifle scopes are better than any I've ever used. You simply can not beat it!

I think the best test of optics in rifle scopes is a side-by-side comparison under the exact same lighting conditions. And the best test of customer service and warranty is the company's handling of a complaint.

I haven't seen too many of them on the benchrest competition lines yet but will keep a look out for them. I'd like to see some good low cost scopes emerge from the U.S.

unfortunately "good" and "low cost" are two phrases that are usually not found together when it comes to scopes.

I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for.

I found out the hard way that a company's headquarters can be 'here' but their product can be made 'there', as in China or Philippines.

In rifle scopes you usually get exactly what you pay for. I have not seen one scope made in China that I would mount on one of my rifles.

I'm looking for a 2-7x32 for my Marlin 336 .35 Remington. Buddy of mine works the gun counter in a local store and recommended this line. I asked about warranty and he said "simple, you have trouble with it, bring it back and I'll hand you another one." I'm thinking hard about one.

No we were going to buy the Nikon, but it didn't have the clarity I wanted. I found that Vortex had good reviews so I checked them out.

They also said made in the USA thats just were there headquarters is for shipping in such.
