Well i took a nice doe yesterday with my bow she give me some good meat for the freezer i can tell you i almost made a mastake yesterday by shooting the wrong one there was a young spike with her it only had about 2 inch spikes but i drew back on this deer and i almost shot it if the deer wouldnt have looked up i dont think i would have ever seen its horns i think my eye sight is not what it use to be i barely could see his horns i know i didnt take this deer but i keep thinking to my self how close i came iam headed to the eye doctor monday this is the 2nd time in two years i thougt it was no big deal but i know now that if its going to effect my hunting i know i have to do something any of you ever exsperienced this while hunting and found out your eye sight is not as good as it use to be?

As we get older, seeing in poor light in particular starts to go to hell. So, yep, dealing with it all the time.
Same here.
Found out I have very poor peripheral vision with graduated bifocal glasses. Went back to contacts for hunting. Just have to remember to bring reading glasses along. Hopefully, the eye doctor will fix you up.
What? Hell I'm getting better with age!
Just kiddin but it felt good for a moment just to say it.
My eyes are bad. Real bad. I lose a lot of focus in low light. Contacts and reading glasses will be with me for the rest of my days.
