BBB is bigger so more damage but you can't fit as many in the shell, BB is plenty good for Geese. You want more pellets hitting the goose not bigger doing more damage to meat.
I use both and it is hard to quantify a difference really. I shoot mostly BB since they may be shot through chokes with tighter restrictions. Many full and "long range" tubes advise against using shot larger than BB. However, late season when the geese are more feathereed out and fly higher, the BBB may have a slight edge. I would choose BB's if I could only have one load.
