Q:
What is the most accurate ammo for a 204 ruger. I know it all depends on what your gun likes, but I don't have the money to buy 10 different boxes of ammo. Also should I shoot heavier or lighter bullets. I plan to get into reloading but am only shooting factory ammo now. I would like both factory and reload bullets responses please!

i actually just bought a .204 ruger, its a great accurate round. the best ammo for the best price ive found is winchester super x. but always remeber to shoot the same ammunition that you sighted in with to get the best accuracy. and i feel your pain the round is very expensive. heres a great sight to find the cheapest price on ammo works for me :) also what kind of .204 do you have?

Recently bought my husband a Remington model 700 in .204, the green gun with the triangular barrel. Ugliest thing I ever saw but he loves it. So far we've tried the Winchester Super X in 34 grains and the Hornady V-Max in 32 grains and both group well out of it.

Hil,
Good to hear from you. Did you and your husband make it to the SHOT Show? I think you indicated you were going. I am getting so old cannot remember anything.

Yep, I went. He is not in the industry so he stayed home and pouted about missing all the fun. :)
