When season is out I check mine about every 10 days or two weeks. I try to check them midday when activity will be minimal. I have property 200 miles from home so I only get to check those cameras about once a month. Just make sure you have fresh batteries and a big SD card.
Once a week isn't goin to hurt anything. Don't check it during peak hunting hours unless you're there hunting you can swap the cards out quickly and quietly.
I try to leave mine for about 2 weeks, I use to leave them for longer but have had problems with people cutting my locks and stealing my cameras in the past. nap time is generally around 12 to 2, or atleast thats when I can be fairly certin that I have the best chance not to scare somthing out of the area.
I've been leaving mine out for a couple of weeks at a time. This weekend will be week three for it now, and I'm anxious to go see what I captured. But depending on how large of a memory card you have, the model of camera will decide how long you should leave it. If your camera runs the batteries dead in two weeks, obviously leaving the camera out for three will not benefit you in any way. If you run out of storage space obviously it doesn't behoove you to leave it out. So try and work within those parameters.
once every week or two, go in at noon...more you go in and check it the more scent you leave. i always where rubber boots when checking my camera and spray down with scent killer.
During the summer months and even during season i check them once a week or maybe more during season when im out there. But during the winter months i leave 4 of my cameras out for about a month and then check them.
During the fall around hunting season I check mine once a week butr during the winter mostly only once a month. Sometimes they get snowed in and I can't get to them for 2 or 3 months.
I try to do it every two weeks or longer but I was doing it every few days at first till I got a second camera to alternate every week which works for me
I check mine every 3-4 days usually. My bait is usually gone by then anyway so i have to go bait and i check the camera once im there. It works fine for me.
