Question by deerhunting. Uploaded on November 15, 2012
Rattling with grunts and occassional bleats can be very effective in November. go for it.
If you were in the mountains of eastern WV it would be a good tactic because the rut is in full swing. I am glad to see it our deer season comes in Monday, hope the rut isn't over by then.
Competition is high right now during the rut. Rattle on my friend.
It's probably not going to hurt.
I have made a lot of noise...grunting, rattling, wheezing, etc with deer very close,... sometimes they don't respond at all, sometimes they do. sitting stll and quiet is no fun
