The beauty of putting those decisions in the hands of the consumer, YOU. and not giving your gift to the govt. and having them decide for you, and spending it, is you get to make that decision. Go for it. What would you like for yourself?
I would buy ammo if there is any left on the shelf.
i'm over whelmed with options, there are no Cabela's any where near where i am. So sifting through the website is daunting don't wanna miss any thing. lol looks like i'll be at the computer for a while.
Buy ammo while you can, the Walmarts around here are getting real low on their ammo inventory and some of them are clear out.
i picked up loading components.
Reloading is a good choice. Ammo is also a good choice.

I would wait a little while to see what they put on sale after Christmas... $50 at Cabela's can't be spend wrong.
If you say you like anything outdoors, then you cant go wrong with a good trusty pair of boots. $50 can certainly help knock a chunk off those.
You may need to start saving for a bow:( Just saying.
With a gift card a last year, I took DEP's advice and bought a Fatboy(I think that's the name) seat for turkey hunting. Dave's quote "your a## will thank you" really is true!
