I shot a doe earlier this year and i was wondering if anyone had any good jerky recipes i could try?

Try the packets, you can buy at stores. You can buy them cheap for $2 at our local farm store.

What I use is simple - Allegro hot and spicey. Don't let the name fool you, its got just the right amount of bite to it. All I do is let it marinade overnight, then put it in the dehydrator the next day. They make several different flavors but we like the hot and spicey the best.

I'm auctally making some now. I have never gotten a bad review on this recipe, here it is:
Soy sauce
Tobacco sauce
Worcestershire sauce (or however you spell it)
Brown sugar
Marinate it overnight and then put your oven on the lowest setting (around 170) and just cook for 1 hour. After an hour it will praibibly not be done enough so keep it in checking every 10 minutes or so until its the way you like it. Hope this helps!
