Non of my business but I never see 16 ga. shells on sale anymore. You can always find 12 and 20 at bargain prices. Might be a consideration if you plan on shooting very much.

Yhere is always the option to reload. I have an 870 in 16, but It,s not for sale unless someone offers an OUTRAGEOUSLY high price! 8^D

I agree with Libertyfirst, ammo is not easy to find. I have a Single Shot Winchester 16 Gauge (not for sale, too much sentimental value). I find myself using a 20 ga more often than the 16 ga.
