last muzzleloader i was hunting with and old flitlock the only one i had at the time and my first season hunting alone cold crips with a light snow and with still no dear under my belt I went out after school one day and found a spot to sit and waited then I hear a deer crunchin down the path a decent six, thought it was my day it stopped i pulled up and CLICK gun didnt go off and the deer took off

Would've been my first buck, missed him 20 minutes later he came back, I missed 4 more times. Talk about buck fever.

when a squirrel was in the tree right above me and i missed using a shotgun must have been a remington no wonder i missed!!!
