Q:
Can you go squirrel hunting with a marlin model 60 in PA(I am new to hunting, and could use some advice on this firearm, and PA small game laws). I have found one for $125 and it is in okay condition.

Yes! It's a 22 and they're great for small game and target. I own that same gun and it's accurate.
I used to have one, let my son talk me out of it. Now I have another one!
I'm sure the Model 60 is a good gun but you can't hunt with it in PA. The regs say you can use any manually operated or autoloading SHOTGUN per page 21 of the 2009 Hunting and Trapping Digest. Rifles have to manually operated so stick to a bolt action. The Model 60 is autoloading so is not allowed in PA for small game. I have a Ruger 10/22 and can't use it for the same reason.
PA has some odd laws. I guess it's a byproduct of being in the Northeast...or is there some other explanation?
I think it's from being too close to NJ!
The above are right about autoloaders. But really, even just Wal-Mart should have the solution to your problems. Or contact local gun clubs, and ask if anyone has posted a for-sale add for any sort of a non-auto .22.
Agreed with StevenD and + 1 for you sir!!!
