casey, one of the points of hunting is to eat what you kill, your probably really bored and want to kill something, but that leads to poaching. just food for thought

You found a pellet huh? Your'e lucky you found anything. Unless you shot it 100 yards away your shot must have been off. Didn't you have a 12ga to use?

The only reason to shoot chipmunks is pest control. They can be a real pain in the arse around gardens, potted plants, etc. I had one get in my garage one day and got caught in there. Chewed a hole right through the sheeting and was starting on the siding before he finally got out. I trap them now with big Victor rat traps. The price for the furs is way down.

Kenton, but do you have a Grand Slam? The Oreo El Diablo, Rio Loco, and the Sabertooth Stripe back. Which is only found around Lava rock and is very rare.
I've heard of a rare breed in Russia and will plan a hunt when I save enough Rubles.

chipmunk doesnt taste that bad. its just like eatin a small squirrel. i eat what i kill. the best varmint to eat is whistle pig. the smaller the sweeter taste and the less odor.

A Minpin (Miniature Pincher) is an excellent chipmunk hunter. The problem is getting the dog back.

Once my dad was hunting squirrels with his remington 12ga and he came up to a ravine filled with chipmunks. Laughing, he told me "when I hit them, there really wasn't much left but a wet spot on the ground and a small puff of steam."
