Ruger 10/22 i'm guessing. depends on how confident u are. I won several competitions and shoot mine every day so i would take one a 100- 150 yards if i got a clear shot and could see that target well. Hit them in the neck it hits the spinal column and kills instantly.
I would prefer CCI's velocitors. If I had a 25 round mag full of velocitors in my 10/22, anything within 150 yards would be greeted with bullets as fast as I could pull the trigger.
My Brother inherited Dads custom built 22 Colt Challenger with a 12 inch barrel with elevation sights out to 600 yards. I’ve busted coyotes as far as 400 yards with it as with my Nylon 66.
I have never shot at a coyote with a .22 LR but I can bump off cottontails and jacks easily at that range so I figure I could hit a yodel dog also. Maybe I should give it a try in a day or two before they drop their winter hair.

I don't do anything with 22LR past 100 yards. I'd try to keep it under 50 for yotes. I guess you could kill them out to 100 with a headshot.
Or, just use a centerfire.
150 yards max, although I have killed a rabbit with one shot at 200 yards with a 22 Long (not long Rifle)
I wouldn't feel comfortable shooting one with a .22 past 100 yds.
i proly wouldent go any mor then 100 id try to get em inide 50 before i took a shot but its all what your comfortable with
No more then 90 yards.
not more than 100yds, and that with CCI HP Stingers.
Not more than 50 yards to ensure a good clean kill.
No more than 50 yards. If it were more than 50 yards I would have to have an automatic to let the led fly.
You mean the FURTHEST? and it would be no more than 100 yards
depending on your scope and confidence, I wouldn't go farther than 50 and I would be shooting at the head for sure.

600 yards with a 22?
600 yards with a 22?
No more than 80-90 yards. That's even pushing it in my opinion, unless you have a good scope.
no more than 50 yards and go for a clean shot that kills it fast.
No more than 100
22 LR- 100 yards
22 Mag.- 150 yards
50 yards or less and try for a head shot.
150 yards
I wouldn't go much further than 50 to 75 yards
