Q:
What size choke do you rabbit hunters prefer? I'm rabbit hunting in some old overgrown catfish ponds tomorrow with long, narrow lanes cut. Ill be using a twelve gauge. Full choke or modified?

Modified, by all means. Br'er Rabbit is usually in pretty thick, close stuff and you don't want to tear him up---rabbits die easily, only takes a couple or three pellets, so it's not like you're trying to take out an old gobbler. I've always been partial to #6 shot for brush and game penetration while still maintaining a dense pattern. Good luck.
Ditto~~country road +1
Modified or Imp/Modified chock has always worked for me
either with Dog or jump&shoot, 7.1/2# or 6# field/loads. for cold weather Rabbits.
Modified again earlier season imp. cyl. #6 is always a good choice. Have fun!
I like imp/cylinder or modified with #6 shot. Those are the chokes I use on my sxs.
I always use modified when rabbit hunting with my 12 gauge.
