August 15 is the GA opener. No thanks... too hot, too many bugs... the squirrels are full of warbel larvae and the snakes are crawling. I'll stick to the rifle range until frost falls.

Now, runs from May thru Feb here in Missouri. Not enough people hunt them here anymore.
In PA it goes from october 13 to november, closed for deer , open on December 13-23, closed for christmas, and then open from December 26-February 9.
