i had a gobbler hung up at 100 yards and then he randomly walked away right after i got through clucking and purring. is it possible made a putt?

Welcome to turkey hunting.
Possible, but there are 1000 other things that could have happened. Sometimes a gobbler just gets bored and decides to leave. Or he didn't see the hen and he headed out.
Ga hunter, exactly!
i had a jake and a hen decoy out so i have no clue. he shut up as he was walking away too.
He could have seen something that he didn't like, like Ga hunter said it could have been so many things. Just brush that off and set up closer to where you saw him next time you're out
The day you can find reasoning behind a turkeys actions is the day you become a rich man. Don't think to rationally about this. It happens to everyone. Like ga hunter said it could have been anything that made that turkey change his mind. If you don't have a turkey hang up on you at least a couple times a year you don't turkey hunt much. Next time that putting and clucking might bring him running.
That's what makes turkey hunting so fun! Turkeys are very smart critters and killing them every time you went out wouldn't be a challenge at all, and quite frankly not as fun. Whenever an old tom out smarts you all you can do is just tip your hat to him and know that he may not be as lucky next time!

my top three guesses:
1. He saw something he didn't like
2. He expected to see the hen calling to him and didn't. Then he got tired of waiting for her. Remember, in nature the hens go to the gobbler. (may want to try a decoy)
3. He could have had hens out of sight and didn't want to stray too far from them. So he turned and went back.
