Have with a rifle not shotgun and it works very well. Did an experiment. Shot Browning BAR with and without. I will go with the pad.

I put one on a Benelli SBE (original model). Could definitely tell the difference. I'd go with it. If it is already a short stock, you might consider their slip-on recoil pad. I use one for hardkicking rifles off the bench.

I like em'. I 've also used a "pachmare" brand too. Only difference was price.

Definetly hear good things about them wherever I go. I have shot a rifle with one on it, just be sure you get the right size so its not falling off!!

I got one for my dad last year, he didn't like it and returned it. Just my experience.

Good product. I have one on my 7mm Rem mag and it helped considerably.

Limbsaver recoil pads by Sims Vibration Labratories, also known as the Remington R3, definitely reduce felt recoil. I have them on all my "big kickers". I think the Weatherby recoil pads are Pachmayr Decelerator's, also a great pad.

i've got one on my 12G, Benelli, haven't shot 3 1/2's out of it yet, but it is definitely awesome. can't really tell much on light loads but.. they don't really kick anyways

Haven't used it on a shotgun but I got one for my .300 Dakota and it really does a GREAT job there. The .300 recoil is a little like a 3 1/2 12guage on steroids (faster pop) but the limb saver tamed it.
