archery i almost always use a treestand, though i want to try the groundblinds this year. I shot a buck from the ground with my bow last year, sans blind. It was quite exciting.
I used to use tree stands a lot, but when I killed a buck from 7 paces on the ground with no cover, nothing else will do now. With that said, I'll still gladly go back to Vermont, or anywhere, and use a rifle.

I use both... I use a deer stand when I need the elevation. I only use a gound blind when there is not that many trees in the area.
