Government property? What exactly are you referring to? State managed land, Nat. Forest, all government owned land? Do you have some specific piece of property in mind that has excessive deer population? Sorry about all the follow-ups, I'm just trying to wrap my head around why you're asking this question and how to answer it. Thanks.
There are sound conservation reasons for "dear" seasons that preclude year-round hunting of deer and many other species except varmints that are hunted for population control.
Well I dont really care what governement property he is refering to. There are laws for a reason. if he is reffering to Nat. Forest, no. what happens when you fire and kill some kid that was out camping with his family? private and public land are set up so that its mainly for hunting and not for rec. use. i dont think the law should be changed. gov. property is meant for people to be able to camp and veiw wildlife. thats why we are not really aloud to hunt there now. Oh, and year round!!??!?!?!? NOOOOOOOO whats the point in killing a pregnant doe? or a little summer buck still in velvet? overall, NO
just out of curiosity how old are you? makes no difference just have to ask because of the user name.
and i agree with you. if everyone could hunt year round eventually we would be out of deer to hunt. there has to be some kind of management plan. i know i want my kids and grandkids to be able to enjoy the great outdoors!
