After family, everything. Cliche, but true. The worst day in the woods is better than the best day at work. Nothing like being in the woods whether in a tree or on the ground. Just watching nature at its best. Seeing that majestic buck, bull, etc. come into range. The thrill of the chase. The moments after the harvest. The lifetime of memories that can be accumulated in just 1 season. Hunting with family. The cheer joy of youngster taking his/her first animal. I wiil stop here for I could go on for along time.

First let me say that this question is more of a post because it can generate alot of feedback. But to answer the question, hunting to me isnt just a thing to do with spare time, its something much bigger.

IF YOU WERE TO CUT ME, I WOULD BLEED THE OUTDOORS!

If I was unable to hunt or fish or do anything outdoors, I would surely die. Their is nothing other than family that comes before hunting. I absolutely love the adrenaline and exhitement of the whole hunting experience.

All good answers hunting to me is an escape. I get to get away from everything and witness Gods true miricle. I love being outdoors and I hate being surrounded where I can't see green. I have been in several big cities and always feel uncomfortable. I always need room to roam about. Also when I go hunting I frequently "forget" the cell phone or just turn it off. :)

Hunting to me is not necessarily killing an animal but just getting out in the woods, enjoying nature, and knowing that there is the possibility of seeing something truly amazing.

I agree with CPT BRAD. Its is getting away from all of the stress of work and home, shutting off the phone and just relaxing and enjoying nature.
