All right, what the hell is going on with this site! I left a tip on the blacksmith thread with info on how to make a horseshoe belt buckle. It has now disappeared. Nothing vulgar in it. I tried to make another post on that thread and it was tossed as inappropriate when it really just said "what the heck is going on here." Is anyone ever in the drivers seat on this forum. This is really getting old!

I haven't had any issues. Of course now that I'm associating with a known "non-complaint" I guess I'll probably be on the chopping block too. LOL
I'm not sure Ontario, I know I saw it when I checked on the post once. I don't really get it sometimes!

Ive had the same problem in the past. It will stop it didnt last long. Had a comment deemed obscene because I used the short for Richard?
WAM, I just checked and it's still not visible on my computer. The three posts that followed are still there but not the one on horseshoe tips. Can anyone else still see it? Hard to believe that the visibility of certain posts would be computer specific.
I have also run into the "short for Richard" censorship issue. That's the name of my best friend in the field. You don't get a second chance to fix it either. The censor mode just tosses the whole thing and I have to start over. There is sure a lot of fixing needed for this site. Sad thing is this has been going on for so long. Even websites run out of people's basements tend to see SOME improvement over time. I have said it before, the only thing that changes on this site is the advertising - very regularly!!

Ummm ... oh, oh. Just to clarify, "my best friend in the field" is not living behind my jeans zipper. He's an optometrist in Montana. Glad I beat someone to the punch on that one!

Your first post on the blacksmith question is missing, but a couple of later ones are still there.
There are a number of four-letter words related to firearms that qualify as obscene, but you usually get a rejection notice and have to rephrase the comment.
I think someone must have hit the "Report" button to make your comment disappear.
Gees, there it goes again! Deleting my posts for containing "obscene words" that just aren't there! That's just about enough to get me swearing for real!! Asleep at the wheel? Actually, I think this rig has been running without an operator from day one!
I've been having answers blocked lately. Not consistently. I seem to hit a point in my session where it won't take answers. If I close my browser and reopen it, it lets me answer just fine... though randomly.
The amount of content being loaded on the main page should set a new Internet record for web master intelligence (or lack thereof).
It doesn't surprise me to hear that content is dissapearing with that kind of knowledge at the wheel. With sites like this, I usually observe that where there is smoke, there is fire.
