Bass pro is where I go to buy things I need to check out in real life. Everything else I just buy online at Cabelas. Cabelas is great with online shopping.

To me, Cabela's has a better selection and excellent store brand gear. I can spend way too much time in their gun libraries and bargain caves. Saying that, I visit Bass Pro more often since it is only a few minutes away.

There is a Bass Pro Shops on my way to work, so I stop there often. Mine is one of the few if not the only BPS location that stocks reloading supplies, so that's a plus. As for the catalog, Cabela's lays over Bass Pro due to their tremendous selection. I usually order from Cabela's, but it's BPS when I want to check out a piece of gear before buying or when I need it immediately.

It depends on the store area. I like Cabela's, but I went to a Bass Pro shop that put the Cabela's knife counter to shame. They had Thousands of knives, whereas the Cabelas had a small counter.
