Not exactly... They shed the outer cover (sheath) of horn, leaving the bony inner core.

No they only drop them when they die.

Marty Stouffer has great video of an antelope shedding the outer sheath. Beekeeper knows his stuff.

antelope horns are like bison horns in that the outer shell of the horn is made of modified hairs. as beekeeper and buckhunter have already said they do shed the outer layer. They shed in timing similiar to deer, they will shed the outer sheeth every fall and regrow again the next summer.

Beekeeper says it best as the outer layer of the horns are celiated epithelial cells, sort of like hair glued togather and molded into a point. This outer layer will fall off leaving the bony structure underneath to restart the cycle. Remember that some females also have little horns.
