have any of you got a letter from the north american hunting or fishing club wanting you to test gear?

i got one from both about a week ago. Kept the bass and deer decals and notepads, trashed the rest.

I tested gear for them about five years ago and they sent me some pretty good stuff, as long as you send them a review they will send you more gear.

I have done it. In my experience the "gear" is nothing worth getting excited over. If you join then do it for the magazine and not for the free "gear" tests.

I am a member of NAHC and it's kind of a goofy thing to get involved in. In retrospect I wish I would have just kept the sticker and notepads and trashed the rest, but on the other hand I get that American Rifleman magazine and it's pretty good. But as mentioned above, don't hold your breath on the gear testing.

As stated above if you want the info get the magazine, but the gear testing is not gonna be that great or happen that quickly.
