Q:
Hey guys, I've been M.I.A. for a while, but thats what happens when your state has no jobs and you have to go to Ohio to work. Todays a rain day for me so I have time to ask a simple question for everyone. I made it home to MI for one day last weekend and scored 20+ Morels on my property. My question is, does anybody know any good turkey and morel recipes? Like maybe wild turkey and morel mushroom soup?

I have tried a lot of recipes. For something different, cut up the turkey and morels into strips, throw in a skillet with a little olive oil, cook until almost done, add fajita seasoning, black olives, and maybe some peppers if you desire, cook for another few minutes, cover with grated cheese of your choice, remove from heat and cover until cheese is melted. Serve on tortilla shells with toppings of your choice (ranch, sour cream, salsa, lettuce, tomato's)
Agreed with idahooutdoors and + 1 for you sir!!!
