Just cut the dowel rod to length where you can only fit two shells in the magazine. Hold the rod and two shells next to the magazine and make the rod just long enough so the third shell does not fit.
u can pick up dowel rod at any hardware store.
Mine came from the factory with one that was, I think, a 1/4" dowel and had a rubber washer toward each end to minimize rattling and movement in the tube.
If you ever need a quick fix and can't get to the hardware store, a wooden pencil with flat ends works just as well as a dowel. Just cut it to length with your pocket knife
You can find them at most sporting goods stores and they are called plugs. Just pick the right gauge plug and it should be pretty universal for each gun brand.
+1's for all. You can get a "plug" at almost any sporting goods store. Just tell them the brand/Gauge you have and the'll be able to help you out.
its called a duck plug to make one take off the mag cap put 2 shells in the magazine stick your dowel or twig or whatever you are using through the hole where you took the cap off cut it to leangth and put it back on. then you are ready to shoot
meant plug but wanted to use a dowel screwed up typing thanks to all
