Just to let every one know, I am fore sure a Christian. I have been a believer all of my life and I go to a Christian school. I have recently become very strong in my walk with God and I owe it all to Him. And I just want to point this out, when I am out fishing I am over whelmed by God's creation on the lake.
I am a Christian, but not perfect! Not even close.. I do believe that God forgives..We are all sinners and all fall short of His glory, but I believe we should work as hard as we can to honor him..I find it hard to believe this could happen by chance..God loves us all..This world is not perfect because he wants to choose to believe in Him..Not to force us..It is sometimes hard to believe in Him when things get tough, but He promises to never give us more than we can handle!!!
Just my two Cents!!!
i am a born again believer, i may not act it all the time, and no one is perfect, yes while this nation was founded on christian beliefs, i do not think we are still a christian nation, unfortunately because evil is triumphing, and christians are afraid to step up, and put this nation back on its feet, now im not saying that i do everything perfect, and im not trying to point anyone out specifically, im just saying as a whole, or at least what i have noticed, from other christians i know, and christian kids at my school, they act like christians until it counts.
Wait a minute, now. If folks don't respond, don't go assuming that they're not Christian. That wouldn't be very Christian. And, as the Man said in his most famous parable (hint: it's about a mugging), being a Christian is really not important. Just do the right things and be a good person.
Mr. Ontario Honker, I don't think u r Christian, doing good things is not important all that is important is that you accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior.
Ontario: yes, Jesus did say that it is important to show love to your fellow man, but He also said that He is the one and only way to get to heaven.
You are totally correct though as far as not assuming that people aren't saved if they don't respond. It's not our position to judge if we haven't even heard them out.
Fluger: I understand what you're trying to say, but doing good things is still very important. As Christians, we're supposed to show God's love to whomever we meet, regardless of their religion or personal beliefs.
I was born again over 20 years ago.God Saved me by his grace & hase been molding & making me day by day...He gave me a new life, a family & He Gets ALL the glory for a life that humbly says ...Thank you Jesus
