I personally use a stiff rod,6 1/2 foot, Medium Heavy, with a 3 or 4 ought Tru-Turn hook, with nothing on it, and have a friend hold the pillow case and flashlight while I set the hook, generally on the lower jaw of the frog.
Also, if I hook a smaller frog, I hook it so it won't get off, and place a heavy sinker on the line and wait for Mr. Bass to get hungry ... don't set the hook to early while fishin' for bass.

Bots, flashlight, and a gig
Boots not bots, sorry
in the late afternoon walk around the edges of a pond with a 22
You will need snake boots, boat, good flash light, and a frog gig. Not to mention a cooler of beer and a great night with one of your best friends.
12 foot telescoping crappie pole, 4 lb test string and flies or bread on number 8-10 hooks.
Airboat, spotlight, .22. Shoot them in the head and grab them before they sink. There are big fish waiting for your frog.
waterproof boots,a pond or creek full of frogs.and a long piece of bamboo with a fork taped to the end of it.
i frog gigg my pond with a buddy with waders and flashlights and a big gig
A gig, and any other equipment you feel you need.
