I recently acquired one. (you can see my post in the other trail cam topic) It works well, and thus far have had no issues. And hopefully wont have any when I go check it again in a couple of weeks. Battery life so far has been excellent to outstanding. Was easy to set up and only took me about 5 minutes to understand how to program the thing.
As of now I would recommend getting one. Although I have also been eyeballing a primos truth 35 cam to add to my arsenal. I guess they work pretty well, and right now you can find some rock bottom prices on them.
The bushnell bear box is engineered very poorly, so if you decide to get one, get the CamLock Box.
bruisedsausage: THank you, If you could let me know how its going when you check it again, that would be awesome. I do not plan to buy a bear box, not an issue around here, but i i need one i'll be much more prone to welding one up. What kind of weather is you camera in? Tanks
Love my trophy cam. Been out since July 4th and still on the initial batteries. Been in extreme heat, rain storms, and snow. Performed flawlessly. Really impressed with the reach of the sensor. I was catching deer way out. Also, I dropped one on the kitchen floor awhile back and the lcd screen broke. Sent it back to bushnell and they actually upgraded my camera. Great customer service.
well its been out in freezing rain, snow, more snow, some normal (but cold) rain. And some moderately cold temps. It was out during periods of weather that dipped into the teens. The booklet that comes with it says what temperatures it will operate in and If IRC I think it translated into the -Fahrenheit numbers a bit. I'm planning on going back to retrieve the memory card on the 3,4->5th of February. Not sure if that is soon enough for you? An 8GB memory card on 5MP is somewhere around 8000 pics, and so I'm in no real rush to go get it. (also its over three hours away from home) There was no moisture inside or anything and I had to chisel ice off of it to get it open on my last trip. But yeah, I'll make a post here, or come back and update this after I go check it and let you know how its working.
I also got the bare bones model too, something like 119436C???? something similar to that. Doesn't having a viewing screen or anything, or the "black out" screen. I paid roughly $150 from amazon, although I saw yesterday that a 3rd party seller was selling them through amazon for $130.
