Put a little Chiggarid on that will kill the tick. Then use tweezers to pull gently until he comes loose.
carefully and don't panic.
Alive by all means,I have used phenols on a Q-tip and wet them good.most of the time they will back out.Have also used a bath that was infused with a capfull of lysol in the brown bottle, use caution it will burn if mixed to strong.Have also used twizzers in last hopes of removal. These are nothing to ignore they can be bad.
cover it in vaseline and it will back out...A match lit and put on the put will get em out also...I am a medic and we try to get them out when the Soldier comes in on sick call...we use dressing forceps ( long tweezers that are not sharp pointed) and pull evenly, straight and hold for a minute or two and they will loosen ....just becareful to getthe head if not see a doctor to be on the safe side....after removel keep an eye out for fever, headache, bodyache or redness and swelling around the site
Put a lit match under a metal pair of tweasers and once it is hot put it on the tick so it falls of and flush it down the toilet.
if you just put the lit mathch up to them they will back on out most of the time
Careful with the tweezing/squeezing. THEIR HEADS AND MOUTHS ARE FULL OF VIRUSES AND BACTERIA. On my dawgz, I usualy clip off the end of their abdomens. They don't live. But I check them boys twice a day during tick season, and usually can remove them easily or find them walking around. I have found that the ticks hang on while the pups are moving. Then, when we are resting, they get up and relocate, and are easy to spot and remove. On myself, I use small monofilament fishing line and slip a half-hitch up close to the skin. Tighten and extract. For burrowing ticks, I usually dig them out with a sharp exacto knife. It's not nice and it leaves a scar, but it's better than going to a doctor. Especially if you want that new shotgun.
Take a shot of whiskey, pull the tick out, then take another shot of whiskey. Hope this helps.
1. Take shot of whiskey of choice.
2. Coat tick with vaseline.
3. Take shot of whiskey of choice.
4. Tick should back out, if not, repeat step 3.
5. When tick backs out, burn the little b@%*!$d, and repeat step 3.
I carefully pull them out with tweezers then put then in a small jar of gasoline.
Use tweezers to grasp the tick as near to the mouthparts (and as close to the skin) as possible. Use gentle, steady, straight force to pull the tick out. The site should then be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with alcohol or another disinfectant. The tick can be killed by soaking in rubbing alcohol or flushing down the toilet (it should not be crushed or squeezed). Hands should be washed afterwards.
Heat up a pin and stick them with it, when they back out flick or pull them off.
Very accurate .22
I'd burn them off.
Them stomp on them.
