I've been getting in next year's supply of firewood and cutting trails through the briar thickets so I can get to where the turkeys will be gobbling. (I heard one gobble six times this morning.) The season starts March 15th.
been relearning basic electrical from some marine instructors, thier cool guys and they realy know how to dumb it down so that the few and the proud in our class can keep up with us sailors.lol
Hey Navy, they know how to keep it simple, they got a ton of info to give you and no time to waste and besides, you have any idea how much money is being spent on your training? WOW! Can't get it no place else!
i work in the woods for a living killing trees and this weekend i sat on my backside starring at the the tv and puter screen .but normally i ice fish , rabbit hunt. but but i like calling yotes in at night as well.
Hey Jim, while proccesing into Eielson AFB AK, a poor Airman was setting across almost in tears. I asked what was bothering him. He handed me his orders and it said Clear AFB AK. Some fella coned him into swapping stations with him at Tech School making him believe it was Clear AFB Arkansas! I asked if he loved to hunt and fish, this was in June 86. That First Tuesday in August 86, he had a Sweet Thing tucked under his arm fixing to get married and getting another healthy supply of fishing and Hunting gear. You can say, he thought he died and went to heaven!
Well, my cousin has been doing a little snowboarding. Friday he landed on his back, compressed 7 vertebra and collapsed a lung. Looks like he might not feel like turkey hunting with me in
April. Just visited him tonight. They have him off the morphine and are letting him walk around a little. I think I'll stick to hunting and fishing.
fixing my Dirtbike, lol. What do you ride? I'm on the new Yamaha Yz450f. I love it. New shocks put on it last December (I ride FMX) and I was riding Winter FMX comp in Wisc and Michigan.
hey rem 700 i went snowboarding with my cousin last week he broke both bones in his arm and gets a plate in tuesday...im with you im done with boarding
Ice fishing and snowshoeing and cross country skiing before the snow on the trails turns to mud. All too soon it will be that awkward time when there is too little ice to ice fish and too much ice to stream fish and too much mud for much of anything else. Ah, springtime in the Rockies!
Cleaning non mast trees from oak flats where I hunt, gets boats checked and primed for spring crappie, cutting trails and fertilizing oak trees in my hunting areas, cleaning and oiling all my reels, putting disk back on tractor to disk up new and old food plots as well as my garden, shed hunting and building new fish structure toput out asap.
I've been working on my Yamaha TW200 (see profile photo), not certain if I'll ride it or sell it in the season ahead. I spend some of my winter tinkering on my workbench on small projects, making writing instruments on my pen lathe. There are a few home improvement projects that beg for attention. No season goes to waste.

Nice sunny day and the last day of bow season and I spent the day with the wife. Besides, the freezer is already full with deer meat!
ice fishing, riding snowmobiles changing the oil on the vehicles, crow hunting, getting some trapping wrapped up etc... still finding enough to do!

I have been snowmobiling, ice fishing, and rabbit hunting every weekend.
Building turkey calls, doing beekeeping chores, rabbit hunting, squirrel hunting.
Shooting skeet mostly, fired up the snow blower a few times, visited a beautiful redhead, read quite a bit, cleaned ALL of my guns.
Started making my own wrist slings and stabilizers, took my concealed carry class, took up fly fishing.
