what was the first type of fish you ever caught seems like most peoples was a bass or trout but mine ws a cat fish.

I used to catch a lot of Suckers while trout fishing with Gramdpa

probably a catfish, when i was 5 or so i used to do a lot of fishing in my grandpa's pond and thats all that was in it.

Some form of bream I'm sure. I did catch my first bass over 5lbs. before I was 4 though.

It's possible that it was a bluegill but the first fish that I can remember actually catching was a northern right next to the boat.

Mine was a pinfish when I was three---caught it from the Bon Secour River on the Gulf Coast.

I don't know if it was my first but the one I remember th most was a 5.3lb smallmouth bass on Houghton Lake, Michigan. I was only 3 1/2.
