I've got the Nokia 6301 with the Stainless Steel covers and trim ring. Dropped it numerous times, stepped on it a couple times, and it's still like it was new. My Coverage is with T-mobile, but I've seen the 6300 series in all the stores. Also it's not a flip phone, which was the weak spot on the last 3 phones I had.
AT&T has two new military specs phones out on the market. I have one of them, I don't know off the top of my head who they are made by or what model. They are both water resistant and shock proof. I have dropped mine multiple times in the mud, on cement out of the tractor and who knows where else. They also get great reception, I get a signal in chicken houses that are down in a river bottom surrounded by mountains. They are good phones but a little pricy.
The Casio Boulder from Verizon. It is built to military specs so its water proof, drop proof and dirt proof. It also has a nice built in compass which is very accurate. This is the only fone I've had that I cant break.
I have the Casio G'zone it is waterproof, shockproof, Etc. I had to send it back once when I had it in my pocket and got thrown by my horse. Overall its a good phone.
My dad has he casio boulder. IT is a little pricey, but it is built to military specs, and i have dropped with nothing happening. It is also dust and water resistant. And shock resistant.
There's a difference between waterproof and water resistant. The two I destroyed were toilet drops. The tech wouldn't touch them - just said they were dead.
Try using a mobile accessory that will protect your cell phone. or use a very cheap phone so that if it breaks you wont be very dissapointed about it. You can get a cheap phone at $40 here at All Best Cell Phone Deals

I was told by the rep that the boulder was built to withstand the toilet bowl. So??? not too sure, but I'm not willing to try it.
Get one that flips up so you don't accidently call someone. And invest in the unbreakable phones.
