Beekeeper probably has that recipe buried in a Mason jar out in the dog pen. That's where he said my chili recipe was.

WA Mtnhunter-
Is your chili that bad? Or that good?

Well, the judges at the annual company chili cookoff thought it was good enough to win 1st prize out of 16 entries in the traditional category and it was all gone!

Thanks for the loads. Bill Evans handed me his custom built 338-06 with B&L scope and said take this for a back up gun when you go elk hunting this fall. I haven't had time to work up any loads. He also handed over 2 boxes of aforementioned bullets, RCBS dies and about 50 rd of brass. Looking at these velocities nothing seems to match what I get with my little 350 Remington with 200 gr TSX bullets. Keeping in mind the 338 bullets do have a higher B.C.

Del one thing for sure, withe the 338-06, you will always have plenty of 30-06 brass to make 338-06 cases B)

You guys are really a bad influence! I'm tryig to wait patiently for my rifle and keep seeing all this good stuff. Hopefully, my .338-06 will be in my hot little hands this summer or early fall, can't wait!!! Thanks for all the great load info I've been picking up, I'd really like to hear how your rifles do in the field with the various loads. Good shooting, best regards!
