The chase phase seems to be coming a little early this year. While bowhunting today I saw 4 separate bucks cruising for does. The first was a 1.5 yr old 8 pt. An hour later a 120 inch 10 point came by. Just before dark saw a six and a spike. No I did not take the shot at the 10. There are much bigger deer out there and one buck is the limit in KS. Anyone else see cruisin bucks yet?

Yes, here in North GA I have seen several bucks running in the past week or two. One was making scrape when I saw him. The others were just cruising through, I think it has been brought on by over two weeks of much cooler weather than usual.
Saw a couple of younger bucks cruising around the past couple of days. Things are starting to crank up down here.

Last weekend they were moving like crazy up here in Wisconsin, saw several different bucks cruising and a couple chasing doe. Also was able to grunt one of the 1 1/2 year old bucks in. So much for the "October Lull"
