if they are making territorial marks it is likely a male thats about teh only way i know of how to check
prob a male if its marking
I think there is a way if yu can feel between his hind legs. Just kidding. No, I think there is a way to tell with the position of the ears on its head. I think it goes like this; if the ears are more on the side of its head its male. If the ears are more on top its female.
Boars are usually more blocky and burly in appearance and you can sometimes see his "equipment" if the angle is right.
