I'm in Thunder Bay. Believe it or not I saw that book in Walmart yesterday! I perused through it for a while. Some good stuff and some BS. The unit on tracking elk was pure bunk. Do NOT expect to get a shot if you deliberately try to come down them from above. Elk do not go uphill before bedding down. Almost always they go sidehill. And more often than not they bed adjacent to where they fed the night before. Seemed to be a lot of emphasis on getting a double when bird hunting. That's a recipe for screwing up. Just make the first shot count. Guys concentrating on making the second shot count usually wind up missing the first one.
