Look at it this way, what happens when they both go off?

If the gun goes off, it only last a second and thats the end of it.

If the GF goes off, there might be a long fight, days of quarreling and hassle and so on and so forth. And just think, if she goes off WITH the gun, now you have a whole nother situation :).

Hahaha! I was just looking for help on a more "worthwhile" way to spend my money. I'm gonna have to go with Clay. Don't get much better than that anyway.

Just a thought, get a girlfriend with a job and convince her that she should buy you a new gun. Ladies, just kidding.

I'd say if the current girlfriend isn't supportive of your shooting activity, get a new gun anyway and (if the girlfriend disapproves) you may need a new girlfriend. Admittedly, the gun can't possibly be accessorized as well as the girlfriend, but at least the firearm has a warrantee.

I'd find a girl that owned a gun store!!! I think that'd be great and she'd always be working during hunting seasons!

I want to know the specifics of a situation where girls and guns are mutually exclusive. What is the reason for you to have to make this decision?

Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa. I thought the new gun was the new girlfriend. But I think as the Golfing Sportsman is eluding to, you should be able to have both. Look at Corey Cogdill. She is an awesome olympiad/woman. Look for women like that. I saw a picture one time, it was titled, "Every man's Dream". It was a beautiful blonde woman, American Flag bikini clad, fishing in waders with a beer on her bottoms strap. Talk about a sportswoman.

cjmurdoch, great idea. And Edward, I do like the Warranty perspective. Golfing Sportsman, Guns and girlfriends become mutually exclusive when you need a new gun, but can't necessarily afford one but you need a new girlfriend too. However, if you get the girlfriend, any money you spend on her can't be spent on a better gun, or any gun at all.
