Q:
Well the big buck I hunted is left to breed another year, what a great year it was simply because I made time to hunt. Cheers to you regulars and newbies, I look forward to fishing, coyote hunting, and improving the deer club, what does 2012 have in store for you, besides zombie apocalypse etc?

I'm looking forward to elk and deer in the freezer, a lot of time in the woods and on the water, and a new custom fly rod. A few trophy trout and a nice rack wouldn't go amiss either.

I work too much. I need to manage my time better for more time in the field.

Headed to SCI Convention in Vegas Feb 1-4. Anyone else?

Hopefully lots of fishing and some deer hunting in the fall. I fished or hunted at least one day every month in 2011 nearly 30 days in total. With three active kids, I feel I did alright. In 2012 my goal is 45 days.

I am looking forward to a busy varmint season (for which I am very well-prepared), and a little freshwater fishing in spring and early summer with my ultralight spinning tackle. I'm very optimistic about 2012, and I hope all here have a wonderful year.

Very little fishing and no hunting last year. Unless you count shooting squirrels of my porch. lol My 14yr old son got to do Quite a bit of hunting, not very fruitful but he was out there. Im very grateful he has people to take him. My job is workin 26 days a month and when home gotta play catch up on chores. this year Im going to find more time to spend with my son in the outdoors! Somehow someway? Any suggestions?

I would like to start projects around the camp. Such as a new skinning shed and a bar in the living area of the camp. Also, can't wait for spring turkey season. I am getting married this June so I don't know how much time I will be able to spend on these projects.

I'm Tebowing for a mild winter and dry spring. The pheasants and Quail can use one!
