i use a primo's super full in my 870! i personally like winchester supreme loads! but that is not my place to try changing your mind! but the primo's is amazing, best 60 bucks i have spent in a long time!
patterns out too about 60 yards in my gun! consistently!
Don't know what others use, but I just bought (about $35 best I remember) a "super" full choke and I shoot Winchester High Velocity 2.75" ammo with number 7.5 shot. Haven't lost a bird yet.
I use the Tru glow gobble stopper and remington nitro turkey loads works great for me
I've never had a problem with the Remington Full Choke available in the 870 Upgrade Kit. That's right, a Rem standard full choke. The kit was less than $30 (if memory serves) and comes with two chokes, Rem oil and a wrench.
Funny you should ask that. I currently work for, lets say a very large outdoors retailer and I order all the shotshells for the company. We actually contacted Federal with this question a few weeks back because we had similar customer questions and they replied a .680 - .695 choke works best. NOT ported. I guess the ported chokes hang up the FlightControl wad. Hope this helps!
