I say the double lung, both shots will kill the game, but double lung leaves more room for error = larger kill zone. aiming for the center of double lung and a slight deflection still give a large area of effectiveness. A heart shot on the other hand could turn into a miss if deflected low or from misjudging the range.
Dead is dead. If the "pump" isn't flowing your going down, and if your not "breathing" your not running !
With "proper" shot placement you'll "poke a hole" in both.
Dead is dead but I usually use the double lung shot just a little high and behind the shoulder to avoid damaging the meat on the whole front shoulder. It just pokes a hole through with minimal meat damage and seems to crupmple the deer on the spot. Also gives you quite a bit of room for error as there is kill zone for about a foot or more in all directions.

I always go heart if at all possible.
both kill, but a double lung shot usually doesnt run as far as a heart shot animal

I like the double lung shot because then I get to eat the heart. But like everyone before me said either one will kill, so it doesn't really matter.
the double lung shot kills them quicker and is a larger target.
Double lung FTW.
I prefer cartridges with high hydrostatic shock and the lung shot just behind the shoulder is the most effective “MOP”!
A +1 for all of you!
jordjohn44, a heart shot is good only if you can do it at that moment. I aim just above the heat taking both the heart and lungs out.
I give you a +1
doubble lung. both will kill

how about you take a little bit of both, if I had to say though I'd go with the double lungs your going to get more blood out of it.
