A hunter's most treasured possession while in the field is his boots. Good boots will keep the hunter's feet dry and warm allowing him to stay in his stand for that extra hour. During that extra hour is when that monster buck you've been pursuing for the past three years walks by.
Dry and warm feet = your chance at the big one

Im going to say his rifle because he can have all the gear in the world to keep him warm and fluffy out in the field, but when it comes down to it..the rifle is what kills his animal and to think anything comes even close to importance is just nonsense.

I don't believe that! I've had times when I've needed toilet paper but made due with something else. If I'm in the woods and I don't have some device with which to harvest game nothing else really matters. I assume this answer came from some survey. I'm sure good boots, warm cloting, and a good gun or bow mean more to most hunters most of the time than striking paper! They sure do to me!
